Mistakes

I love and adore the Lord, but I have made mistakes. Yes I am a Christian and I am also human. So the truth of the matter is, not because I love the Lord and I am a Christian, doesn't mean I haven't or wont make mistakes.
Now even though I have made mistakes in my life, doesn't mean I'm rejected (1 Samuel 16:7), or not loved by God. For God doesn't look at my stature, nor does he look at my appearance, but he looks at my heart. God knows my heart better than me and even better than those around me. So even even though I have made mistakes. I am thankful for my mistakes, my mistakes produced life lessons. Lessons that as I strive daily to full the will of God and purpose of God on my life. I can apply to a situation or share with someone else, that can be a blessing unto them.
Mistakes are a part of life, I personally believe. There are many chosen individuals that the Lord have chosen and they too have made mistakes. David was a man after Gods own heart but he too made a mistake, his mistake produced a lesson which lead him to repentance (Psalm 51). Samuel a prophet of the Lord made the mistake of assuming based upon stature and appearance. Seven times he made this mistake and yet after all that, the Lord still worked and moved through him.
So yes you have made mistakes, and yes ever now and then you might make another mistake (thank God for Grace). But don't get discourage nor be dismayed. Seek the Lord, share unto Him your mistake, and allow the Lord to correct you if needs be, based upon the mistake. Allow for God to show you the lesson from the mistake, for God knew that you would have made the mistake before you made it and he had a plan for it all. Don't allow for the mistake to define you, strive to press on from the mistakes, with the leading of the Holy Spirit
Mistakes, how will you allow them to define you?
Prayer:
Father I thank you for what the enemy meant for bad your using it for good. I thank you for all things work out for the greater good of those who love you and is called according to your purpose. I thank you Abba Father that yes I have made mistakes and those mistakes have produced life lessons that have helped to shape and transform me into the woman you say I am. Father I pray in Jesus name that those whom read this blog, be no longer bound or shackled by their previous mistake, but that they will be set free and accept your grace that is sufficient enough to help them in not making a mistake outside of your will for their lives , sweet Holy Spirit help them to arise above their mistake in and embrace that which the Lord has for them in Jesus name, Amen
