TIME TO SHIFT

ree

Often times due to a cumbersome expectation of others in our lives and this world, wether it be at home on the job or even with those whom we love and hold dear to our hearts.. It's so easy for us as christian or anyone for the matter, to just be!

Just to be able to take a minute and breathe, gather our thoughts, think, mediate and ponder on the totality of life. But when the effort and time is invested to breathe, gather our thoughts, think mediate and ponder on the totality of life lived thus far.

It some times make one think, where did time go? I didn't really achieve that which I intended to, nor do I see that much of a change within. Never the less praise be unto God who is time outside of time and he whom created us. Has also "Made everything beautiful in its time" (Ecclesiastes 3:11). So after all is said and done, with coming to the realization of where we were, where we are now in our lives and where we hope to be.

Requires a shift, as the definition of shift says, a slight change wether it be in our minds, attitude, heart, enviroment, relationships / friendships. A sligt change in postion direction or tendency is needed. For in all reality, you have been making shifts for sometime now, it just wasnt evident as it is now. For in different times and season of life requires different measures.

So today make the effort and time to breathe, gather your thoughts, mediate and ponder on what is needed to be shifted in your life.

Activity:

Find a quite place in your home, on the job or in your car

Be still for 60 seconds, (have your eyes closed)

Then do this for 5 mins but include your favorite scripture

after you are done, journal all that you received from the 1st 60 seconds and then the 5 minute.

I did this activity, I was 1st introuced to it from a Dr. Charles Stanley devotional. Now for me it was a little bit tricky cause I am a mom of four, 3 under the age of 8. And getting into a place of quiet / stillness can be tricky, but achievable with some work. I did it and it has been something I have scheduled into my daily at times busy days by the grace of God.

So I hope that this activity and blog is a blessing unto you and I pray that whatever shift is needed for you to make in your life, God will bless you with grace that is sufficient enough (2nd Corinthians 12:9) to make that shift in Jesus name Amen
