Make plans, set a goal

As we are in a pandemic, a lot of things have come into play. And working the current job I have now. Has helped to also shift my perspective on some things.

Its very important to plan, as well as make short term and long term goal. As a mother and wife, my goals have to be made keeping in mind, my kids and family overall. Knowing that the choices I make can affect their / our future. I’ve learned and notice in my culture and race, we don’t take time to make the proper preparations needed so that we will secure our future and is not just living in the present.

Prime example: living from pay check to paycheck, not having anything saved for

a rain day, God forbid that something should happen. This cycle & pattern of living isn’t of God.

Im not a spring chicken nor am I that old either, but with how things are going seeing that age isnt a factor, somethings need to always be in order. Now even though we are to make plans and set goals. The word of God tells us that “in our heart we make plans, but the Lord establishes our steps” (Proverbs 16:9). So we are to also to keep in mind that plans and goals can change and even though it changes, it’s not necessarily for bad but also for good.

Have you taken time to make plans and set goals, both long term / short term?

Make time to write out a plan as well as set long term and short term goals.

It may not make sense now, but walk in faith. It will make sense at the appointed time and season. Father God we are your children and it’s not of you for us to live in a manner and way we are living, with our a sense of knowing we’re we are going or desire to be. Not reaping that which you intended for us to reap as a heir of you. Help us to break out of cycles and patterns that hinder and is robbing us of all that is provided for us your sons, in Jesus name, Amen

God Bless
