There is a saying that
time is of an essence,
and in the Bible within the book of Ecclesiastes it speaks of time and seasons. I have learned over years and more so now, that just like everything else, time is also a gift and we have to utilize the gift of time wisely.
Truly indeed time has to be prioritized. In my day to day life I have to take time to organize my schedule, I also have to take time to see the season that I am in. Most of all I have to take time to reflect and see how important time is. For time lost is time I can't regain, and time lost is time wherein what was needed to be achieved or embraced cant, because the time for it has passed. This time I speak of isn't Aphia Brown's time nor is it mans time. Its Gods time, we are on Gods time clock and what he says go.
Yes we have a physical clock and other various ways to know and tell time. But God gave man the wisdom to develop a watch, clock and other methods to tell time. And so as we are blessed with wisdom to tell time, so we are to recognize that there is a limit of time given to us. Each day only has 24 hours, each hour is for 60 mins.
So today, take time and make time to see someone you haven't seen in awhile. Take time to help a person in need. Take time to do what the Lord requires of you to do. Take time to embrace an individual, for the TIME IS NOW! There was so many things that needed to be done within my home, and I kept on putting it off and off.
Before I knew it, I was so backed up on the tasks that I needed to do. But today something hit me. Have you ever had one of those moments? A moment when you had to say to your self, NOW is the time to do this. I'm sure you have, and so today as I had this moment, the saying "time is of an essence" came to mind. I can't and shouldn't play with my gift of time, and I hope you wont either.
Embrace time, utilize it wisely. Most of all be on the time wave that God wants you on and not on mans time frame.
Aphia Brown Overcoming Day by Day

Another thing I have learned and hold on to for dear life, is that for the time being that I am here. Each time I can be of a blessing or help unto anyone, by Gods grace do it. For after all is said and done, you want to give an account unto God on how your time was spent. So I encourage us all to day (myself included) embrace time. Live, Love, Laugh, be a blessing and let your time be recorded in a manner pleasing unto the father, take nothing nor anyone for grantige
A Time for Everything
3 There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every matter under heaven—
2 A time to give birth and a time to die; A time to plant and a time to uproot what is planted. 3 A time to kill and a time to heal; A time to tear down and a time to build up. 4 A time to weep and a time to laugh; A time to mourn and a time to dance. 5 A time to throw stones and a time to gather stones; A time to embrace and a time to shun embracing. 6 A time to search and a time to give up as lost; A time to keep and a time to throw away. 7 A time to tear apart and a time to sew together; A time to be silent and a time to speak. 8 A time to love and a time to hate; A time for war and a time for peace.
